Despite all our technological and scientific advancements, we have never been more miserable as a species.  Even though we are safe in the physical realm, we feel like we are in danger in the inner realm.  The threat against our identity is as frightening as being in physical danger.  Meditation can help with this global problem.  When we meditate, we gain control of our inner world.  It balances the brain, improves the immune system, decreases blood pressure, decreases risk of cancer, but most of all, it gives you insight into your inner world.  It helps you understand who you are, what you want, what you feel, what you think, what you believe, and manage yourself so that you don’t live in constant stress.
