Adjust to a Sick Society
AMS describes his world as a place where neither he nor his woman is safe. By showing her his “strength and power to protect her” he believes he makes her feel safe. To demonstrate his strength he must dominate and control her, because this is what she actually needs in order to feel safe in such an unsafe world. After all, if he can’t dominate her, the weaker one, how will she believe he can dominate all the dangerous predators in the world?
The only problem with this flawed principles is summed up in this quote:
It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.
AMS has correctly evaluated the dangers of our sick society and adjusted his strategies accordingly, however this will only perpetuate a sick society rather than correcting it.
