The Workforce System Can Be Traumatizing
The work environment has become more and more stressful and demanding while openly stating that emotions must be kept out of the workplace. In other words, don’t expect to find an environment where your Essential Human Needs will be met. No one in that environment believes that they are obligated to make you happy. The only thing they owe you is money.
Only 43% of people are motivated by the stress of today’s competitive workplace. The rest of the 57% of the population are paralyzed by it. That’s the majority!
Why do we cling to a system that immobilizes a majority of our workforce?
Answer: Because the planners and decision-makers are those who are motivated by it, of course. Paralyzed employees don’t get promoted into positions of power. So, it will never change.
