Trans-Generational PTSD

Transgenerational PTSD refers to historical and cultural traumas that cause damage for many generations because it is passed through the genes as well as through the stories and negative indoctrination we pass to our children. When a society is unable to co-create a loving environment that meets Essential Human Needs, everyone suffers. The environment becomes more and more toxic, creating more distance, resulting in more emotional deprivation.
Each new generation is less capable of love than the last because the damage is passed genetically, verbally, a by example. There is a predisposition to detachment, negativity, hostility, and all the other symptoms that are on the rise in the U.S. and around the world. This is due to the accumulation of trauma in the DNA as well as our daily lives.
